Office/Unit/Project Description In 2022 it will be fifty years since the first United Nations conference on the human environment was organized – the 1972 Stockholm Conference. The Government of Sweden will host a high-level global Meeting in conjunction with this anniversary from 2-3 June 2022 with the theme: “Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the priority of all - our responsibility, our opportunity,” The objective of the Meeting is to contribute to accelerating a transformation that leads to sustainable and green economies, more jobs, and a healthy planet for all, where No One is Left Behind during the last Decade of Action for the 2030 Agenda. The Government of Sweden, UNDP and UNEP have identified a series of strategic opportunities to help ensure that the Stockholm+50 International Meeting catalyzes greater impact in developing and developed countries. These include preparations leading up to the Conference, the design of the meeting itself, as well as post-Conference follow-up activities and legacy initiatives. A Global consultation lead is sought to support the entire national consultations. The consultation lead will have a coordinating role, serving as primary focal point for Stockholm+50 national consultations, ensuring internal and external communications, facilitation and client outreach activities are of high quality and serve the objectives of the initiatives as well as the needs of the stakeholder involved. The work will be done through the SDG Integration team, reporting to the Policy Specialist, Digital Strategies, he/she is responsible for providing coordination, facilitation, community management, communication, social media, outreach, content management and event management advisory support and training to the client above.
Institutional Arrangement The global consultation lead will report directly to SDG Engagement Specialist in SDG integration team, BPPS. The position sits under the knowledge and learning pillar of the SDG integration team.

Scope of Work 1. Provide overall leadership on Stockholm+50 online ?National consultations on SparkBlue
2. Develop and conduct National Consultation for at least 100 country offices
3. Support UNDP’s work at the high-level global Meeting in conjunction with this anniversary from 2-3 June 2022
4. Support with adhoc engagements related to global consultations on SparkBlue
