Under the overall guidance of the RR and the supervision of the DRR, the International Procurement Specialist, is responsible for the effective delivery of procurement services in order to obtain the best value for money in the Country Office. The International Procurement Specialist manages the CO procurement and provides solutions to a wide spectrum of complex issues related to procurement. The International Procurement Specialist promotes a collaborative, client-focused, quality and results-oriented approach in the Unit. The International Procurement Specialist works in close collaboration with the Procurement Associate, Operations, Programme and project teams in the CO, UNDP HQs staff, UN Agencies colleagues to successfully deliver procurement services.
