Antecedentes

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is an international development agency that promotes the right of every woman, man and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity. UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programmes to reduce poverty and to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect.

Under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Representative and supervision of the National Programme Officer (NPO) Advocacy, and Communication Officer, the Website and Multimedia Assistant is responsible for the following:

Deberes y responsabilidades

  • Maintain Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials on the UNFPA Indonesia website;
  • Maintain IEC materials on multimedia sites and maximizing their presentation impact;
  • Work closely with the website developer and UNFPA IT units to ensure constant and proper functioning of the UNFPA Indonesia website;
  • Ensure that the UNFPA Indonesia website layout and links are current and functional;
  • Monitor requests and queries from the website, forwarding them to the appropriate department for action;
  • Implement recommendations under their respective areas of responsibility coming from APRO and UNFPA Headquarters website/social media Focal Points;
  • Collaborate with UNIC, other UN Agencies and other concerned national counterparts' website/social media Focal Points and initiatives to ensure harmonization and complementarity of UNFPA CO multimedia/social media initiatives;
  • Provide monthly reports on activities.

Habilidades y experiencia requeridas

Recruitment Requirements
Academic Requirements

Minimum of College Diploma (D3 level) in multimedia studies, design, IT or any other relevant discipline

Experience and qualifications:
  • 5 years relevant experience in the public or private sector is required
  • Demonstrated design and creative skills to maximize presentation of multimedia
  • Familiar with photo and video editing software
  • A prior UN/International NGO experience is desirable
  • Experience working in youth organizations or networks is an advantage

Languages
Fluency in oral and written English and Bahasa Indonesia

Computer skills
Proficiency in current office software applications
•    Experience in handling of web based management systems
